This list starts with the obvious and then goes to others you might not have heard of. Not all of these will be applicable but choose the ones that are and start spreading your praying around.

Did you think of any I forgot?
For years I've written on a card I keep in my Bible the names of family, friends, our leaders and others you have listed in your post. Many of the names carry over from year to year. But the neat thing is this: When a prayer is answered or progress is made, I tuck a date after the name. Very faith-building!

DeleteYour list is a great reminder that we are called to pray for a wide range of people and cover them in prayer. We can get so caught up for praying for those we are personally connected to or who have an immediate issue. Yet, there are so many who risk their own health and lives, struggle in ways we do not know, need forgiveness, are forgotten or are in the margins, etc so using your list as a way to pray for these people as well is very helpful. Thanks!

DeleteThank you for sharing this! I am trying to be much better with praying for people, especially when I say I will. Sometimes we say "I'll pray for you" on a whim but it's important to follow through on that promise.
ReplyDeleteI used to have trouble remembering to pray for them too. So now I say a silent prayer right away so it's done and I won't forget.
