Books About Faith

Since I became interested in Christianity, I've been acquiring books like crazy.  I've spent almost $200 on books, most of which were faith related and most of which were only $1-$5 each.
This is my Christian book shelf. I'm running out of room and I still have more books on there way to me (half were bought online, half from thrift stores)

Here is a closer look

Do you see any books you've read? I've only read about 4 of them but I'm going through them as fast as I can. I also acquired a regular bible and a study bible which are not pictured so I've been making time to read that as well.

  1. Hello sweet sister in Christ! Thank you for linking up at Faithful at Home Fridays, such an encouragement to me. I am so grateful that God has caught you in his hands. I read so many books too and always have a few waiting to be read! As I have matured as a Christian, I have grown to realise that, even with the appearance of being a Christian book, some books are not as biblical as others. It takes some time to grow and have a spirit that checks when you read something that doesn't sound quite right. I always try and read books that have Jesus and his Gospel at the centre of them - that is, that no matter the topic {family, church, marriage, work etc}, loving Jesus and getting to know him more are at the heart of the author's message. I hope this helps. I wish I had had someone to help me at the start too as so many books led my new but vulnerable faith in the wrong direction. I hope to see you again at the link up!

    1. Thanks so much for commenting! You are officially my very first comment. Thanks for the notice about some books being better than others. I will watch for that.

I'd love to hear your thoughts as long as they are polite. I'd like to know someone was here!
